Monday...Valentine's Day 2011.
Back in town. We went to So.Cal. for a going away party for Chad. What a nice bunch of friends he and Kelly have! There was a nice mix of friends and family...so nice to see!

A Mother's Heart
I am going to try to get this blog up and going...posting pics and everything. I think some decorating is in need too...let's see how it goes.
My son Chad has joined the United States Army. He leaves for boot camp on Feb. 13, 2011. First up to L.A. then off to who-knows-where for boot camp, then training. He has joined the Artillery Division. I think my "mother heart" is in for a workout. Chad is not a boy, he is a 27 year old man, a husband and a father. He is also a brother, grandson, nephew, stepson, son-in-law and my boy. He is my boy.
I will try to be hopeful, cheerful, prayerful and supportive. I am proud no matter what Chad does for a living. He is my boy.
